Wideright band has been on top of the Club Band Charts since its inception. An eclectic collection of assorted musicians inspired by one goal…to make beautiful music and watch people enjoy it.
Our collective energy comes from the inner well-spring of craziness that allows us to partake in the feel of the crowd. We know its been long-awaited, but a sampling of some music Tony Kahi has compiled uses his skills in the musicology universe. Its called rhapsody for a reason! Hopeful it raptures your psyche into the beyond. We parted company with a great keyboard player named Jimmy Davis and subscribed a new member, Eddie Burowski. Fun! He's a great fit for the band! We've noticed a greater dimension of playing, allowing us to move into the direction of one day recording music and publishing to iTunes. We played an estimated 50 gigs last year. WOW!! We need a vacation…or possibly a tour date so we can get a fan-base in Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York City, etc.
Shout-out to all the other bands that have come to listen sit in, sometimes invited sometimes not! :) Nevertheless, we have a breed of great musicians in the area. Some will continue to be "UNDER-RATED" or as we say down under…..UNDER THE RADAR.
Thanks to all the loyal following that continue to come out and hear Mike belt out a tune, Tony burn the Fretboard, Bobby Boom-basticate, Kenny Smash Crash and Pop & Grab a beer at the Bar, and Eddie tickle the Ebony & Ivory.
This year proves to already show how busy we are getting! Our schedule is filling up! "How 'bout a bloody break?" Whew! NAH We love to play…even on vacation!
